Fayette County SPLOST

On March 21, 2017, Fayette County citizens voted in favor of a one-penny SPLOST to be used to fund numerous infrastructure, safety, road and quality-of-life projects in our community. Collection will begin July 1, 2017.

Please visit County and municipal websites for full project lists and status updates.
Fayette County is a special place to live, work and play, but our wonderful community is showing signs of wear and tear. Stormwater washouts, roads in need of repair, outdated fire and police equipment and much-needed multi-use path repaving are just some of the areas that need immediate attention.

This SPLOST will provide the funds to address these and other basic infrastructure needs that Fayette County residents deserve.

The staff and elected officials of Fayette County and its five municipalities listened to its citizens through public input meetings and have developed a list of critical and necessary projects that will preserve our safety, quality of life, roads and infrastructure so that it remains at the level that Fayette citizens deserve.
